Relaxation or Swedish Massage

Swedish massage is the basis for most table massage techniques. It is a smooth, flowing style that promotes general relaxation, improves circulation and range of movement, relieves muscular tension and improves overall well-being.

Deep Tissue Massage

Using varies techniques, deep tissue focuses on the body’s deeper muscles and connective tissues that help release toxins in to the blood stream to be eliminated and promotes in the healing process. It is highly recommended to drink plenty of water after a deep tissue massage to help the elimination of these toxins. Clients may experience soreness one to two days after receiving a deep tissue treatment.

Trigger point release 

Locating small contraction knots or nodules in bands of muscle fibers and applying static pressure to help release these knots. Compression of a trigger point may cause local tenderness, referred pain, or local twitch response.


The utilization of static pressure on specific myofascial points to relieve pain. This technique manipulates the soft tissue of the body (muscles, tendons and connective tissue) to balance the central nervous system. NMT incorporates several styles of massaging including deep tissue and trigger point therapy, which are designed to release trigger points, tight bands, or tender points found in skin, fascia, muscles, tendons, and ligaments and myofascial release.

Cupping (Running/Massage Cupping)

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine. The 2016 Olympics exposed cupping more to the western world by seeing various swimmers with big “bruise-like” circles on their bodies thus creating a huge buzz as to what this whole cupping thing is all about. Cupping might be trendy now, but it’s not new. It dates back to ancient Egyptian, Chinese, and Middle Eastern cultures. Traditional cupping uses glass bowls placed stationary on the body, mainly the back. Massage cupping is essentially the inverse of the typical massage therapy. Instead of exerting pressure on the different points of the body for healing, massage cupping uses suction to to tug the skin, tissues and muscles upwards as it glides across the body. Benefits include:

  • Promoting the flow of blood to the muscles and tissues, and removing stagnation
  • Supplying oxygen and nutrients to the cells
  • Softening the tightened muscles
  • Loosening of adhesions and knots
  • Lifting the connecting tissues
  • Opening the blockages of the lymphatic nodes and easing the flow of lymph
  • Releasing and draining of excess fluids and toxins like lactic acid from the tissues and cells
  • Drawing inflammation from the deeper tissues to the surface of the skin so they can heal
  • Stimulating and later, calming the peripheral nervous system
  • Eliminating chronic congestion

Massage cupping can be used to treat ailments like stiff muscles, stress, migraines, fatigue and exhaustion, and back and neck pain. It can also be used in rheumatism, weight loss and cellulite reduction treatments. Muscles that have been injured, undergone trauma or exertion, accumulate lactic acid and other toxins. Massage cupping can be used to drain these toxins so the muscles can heal.

Energy Therapy

Energy therapy is a shared term used to refer to a variety of alternative treatments based on the use, modification, or manipulation of energy fields.  The purpose of energy therapy is gently clearing cellular memory through the human energy field promoting health, balance and relaxation. It also draws upon spiritual energies or forces for such healing which helps to connect the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual realms of our lives.

Following are types of treatment provided:

Emotional release therapy  – focuses on healing energy to clear blocks that accumulate in the body and muscles from certain emotions which otherwise hinder the natural flow of energy.  For many individuals, feelings of being overwhelmed, anxious, and tired become a way of life. Living this way can lead to health problems such as headache, digestive disorders, back and neck pain tension, and sleeplessness, as well as many other symptoms. Emotional Release therapy acknowledges that life experiences can create emotions such as anger, fear, stress, resentment, guilt and sadness and that these emotions become trapped in specific areas of the physical body. Trapped emotions, often called energy blocks, create physical, emotional and mental disharmony. By identifying these emotions in certain areas of the body, the clients can acknowledge, accept it, and with the help of the facilitator clear the blocks away. Also during a session, suppressed emotions are released without the client needing to remember the actual stressful event that caused the energy block. It is a safe, gentle, supportive method that can be used to release patterns of the past that serve no more and help to empower and bring balance to your life. It is an extremely effective healing modality that brings liberty and tranquility.

Sound Healing Therapy –  will affect you on all levels of body, mind and spirit and certain changes that may not be predicted.  We all hold energy frequencies in our DNA, cells and energy fields, these are a result from our thoughts we have created in the past or thoughts we have taken on by others, that do not necessarily belong to us.  The intention of the spiritual sound healing is bringing these sound codes from Spirit through the facilitator to help assist the client for soul ascension and the changes with the ‘shift’ in energy vibration we are all experiencing along with the Earth. For the session to be most effective is to simply receive and allow and to clear the mind of and judgments or expectations. Simply Allow.  Following the session, you may experience fatigue or emotional swings, or you may feel rejuvenated and peaceful.  Don’t judge yourself or the work based on your response.  You will go through change.  Uncomfortable reactions are like a detoxification process of consciousness.  Be loving and gently with yourself.

Pre & Post Natal Massage 

Having had four children, I know first hand the importance Pre & Post Natal Massage has for emotional support, nurturing touch, relaxation, and stress relief. Massage during and after pregnancy focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body under goes dramatic changes of the childbirth experience. Massage also prepares the muscles that are used during childbirth, reduces swelling in hands and feet, fewer calf cramps, enhances sleep and calms an active baby. Depending upon where you are in the pregnancy will determine what type of technique will be used. Most prenatal massages are given with the mother lying on her side. 


 With focus on the head and sacrum this therapy involves light, steady contact on the body. It is very different from traditional massage therapy. With this light gentle pressure that is applied it is seen as more of a “laying on of hands” as opposed to massaging of the soft tissue. Those who receive this work report improvements with headaches, anxiety, chronic pain, TMJ dysfunction and insomnia. The nervous system shifts to a sense of calm and peacefulness, resting in stillness. Many clients have termed their experience as “zoning out.”

Combining the therapeutic properties of essential oils with specific Massage techniques to promote health and well-being. 

Raindrop therapy includes 9 different essential oils (Oregano, Thyme, Basil, Cypress, Wintergreen, Marjoram, Peppermint, Valor, and Aroma Siez). It helps to bring balance and harmony to the body by combining targeted massage and distinctive energy approaches.
